We have had a bunch of fun in school this week so far. Here Noah is making a little art explosion to illustrate our history reading from Beyond. In the book a little boy get into the gun powder room and sets off a little explosion and so the cotton ball in the middle is suppose to be the boys face since he was so scared. This was a nice little activity to do since the beginning of the day was a little hectic.
Wednesday Kayla was learning about early people and how some lived in tents and then moved to caves during the winter time. Here we are making a little "cave painting" to go along with the lesson. The kids always tend to want to do the activities of each other so Noah had to join in :) For some reason Noah's first attempt didn't work on the plate so he made a picture of a tent on a regular piece of paper.
Brianna had to join in too since there was paint involved. She has been sick this week and you can tell it in her face, but she can't be left out :)
We are on week 11 in SL LA 2. His favorite part of school lately has been spelling words. We are working on words with the suffix -ed and so he has divided hunted and then he has to draw the picture. He loves to draw so he does this lately for any spelling word he has.
Kayla was working on her LA at the same time and Noah was commenting on how easy her readers were so he decided he would read it to her. I love her face in this picture. I can't remember what the story was about but it must of been good with that face :)
