Well, so our first week went a little different than I thought it would go. I definitely found out that my wonderful dd doesn't work too well with Noah :) Well, I tried...so I am using BLHFHG for Noah along with Teaching Textbooks 3 and R&S 2 for English. We so love this combo!!! There are so many great crafty ideas to help reinforce what we are learning, it really has added so much to our learning time. I really feel we have found what we have been missing with SL. They do have great books, but I am not good when it comes to adding crafty ideas and so HOD is great for me. Hopefully I will get some pictures posted of the kids and learning, I just have to make sure my camera is up away from my 2 year olds hands and close enough for me to grab when we do lessons.
So, since I am not combining Kayla this year I am going to finish up her SL P4/5 since we are about 2/3 of the way through it and then start up LHFHG. I am so excited and I really would like just to jump into it, but I want to finish what we started. I might speed up P4/5 a little but we will see. Sometimes life here can be a little chaotic :) Anyway, I thought I would just add in a little "correction" for our what we are doing. We are taking the next week off since dh has most of the week off for the 4th of July and then we will dive back into school.
